We are seeking to appoint an experienced SENCO to join our vibrant, inclusive and ambitious school. They will develop, lead and maintain high quality SEND provision and inclusion for our vulnerable learners, which enables excellent learning outcomes and success for all pupils. Alongside this, the role will involve working closely with our SENCO Assistant and Speech and Language HLTA to oversee our internal speech and language provision ‘The Hub,’ and our external speech and language and SEMH provision, ‘The Nest.’ It will also involve being a designated safeguarding officer and line management of some support staff. The role is principally non-class based role but there may be a small teaching responsibility. The successful candidate will have the SENCO National Professional Qualification (NPQ) or be willing to undertake the training.

- Has relevant experience in SEND and is a trained SENCo or willing to undertake

- Approaches their work with enthusiasm, resilience and creativity.
- Is inclusive and ambitious for all children.
