Administrator (E6650) - Deighton Gates Primary School

The Governors of Deighton Gates Primary School are looking to appoint a committed, motivated and enthusiastic Administrator to work in our busy school office and support the School Business Manager. 

We are looking for a candidate to work Monday to Friday, with some flexibility of hours.  Minimum of 20 hours a week.  Term time only.

In liaison with the Business Manager, the purpose of this role is to be responsible for ensuring delivery of a high quality and efficient administration service within the school. The successful candidate will be well organised, reliable, friendly and an excellent communicator.

Main areas of the role include:

To produce and maintain accurate records, using Microsoft programmes, SIMS and other IT packages.

Managing the payments of school meals, activities and school trips.

Monitoring stock supplies

Providing admin support for Senior Leadership team, Teachers and Friends of Deighton Gates.

Acting as the first point of contact for parents, pupil and visitors the successful candidate must:

Be able to communicate effectively

Be able to prioritise workload and use their initiative

Be proficient using IT
