Administrator (E4803) - Moor Allerton Hall Primary School

Moor Allerton Hall is a thriving, happy and diverse three-form entry primary school and our recently appointed, ambitious Headteacher is excited to appoint an Administrator to work in the busy school office. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrator to join our friendly school office team to deliver administrative support and excellent customer service. The successful candidate will demonstrate drive, enthusiasm and the ability to work as part of a team in a busy office and front of house environment. Previous experience of school admin would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.  Good IT skills are essential. 

The post will involve providing a warm and professional front of house service and undertaking a range of administrative tasks as directed by the School Business Manager.    

The post is to work Monday to Friday, term time only plus five training days and five holiday days, working 7.5 hours a day with a half hour lunch break (7 hours on a Friday). 

We will offer the successful applicant a happy and supportive working environment as part of the admin team, and excellent opportunities for professional development working closely with the School Business Manager.

What you’ll need…

  • A friendly, positive approach to your work
  •  Experience of handling day-to-day general administration
  • Great customer service, a patient and positive approach to colleagues, parents and children both face to face and on the phone
  • Skill with Microsoft packages and some knowledge of data packages, along with an aptitude for learning new systems
  • To be well organised, with the ability to prioritise work and meet conflicting deadlines
