We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, multi-tasking Administrative Assistant to join our school. Valley View is a busy and friendly school, and our school office is no exception. The successful applicant will be part of our school administrative team who provide the first welcome to our school. As the first point of contact for visitors and customers, both in person and on the phone, you will be able to deal with this in a professional, calm and friendly manner.
We expect the successful candidate to be flexible, hard-working, have excellent IT skills, be organised, efficient, professional and to be an effective team player who is able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. We hope that the successful candidate will have either previous school experience including a working knowledge of SIMs or skills that can be transferred into a school context.
The main duties of the role will include front desk enquiries, administration, school finance, using IT software i.e. Word, Excel, SIMS and providing support to our school community. Alongside this, you will be tasked to record and monitor pupil absence on a daily basis.
The working hours will be between 7:30am / 8:30am and 1:30pm although, there may be some flexibility around this for the right candidate.
