Activities Coordinator and Deputy Operations Officer (E7076) - Moor Allerton Elderly Care

Moor Allerton Elderly Care (aka MAECare) is an independent charity providing services for older adults in the Moor Allerton, Alwoodley and Shadwell areas of Leeds. One of the 37 Neighbourhood Networks across Leeds, our role is to ensure older adults can easily access the support and services they need as they get older. Activities are a crucial part of what we provide to complement our busy and vibrant range of services at our centre on Cranmer Bank. 

We are recruiting an Activity Coordinator and Deputy Operating Officer who will focus on the delivery and development of our activities; you will be hands-on, working with colleagues to develop and deliver both existing and new activities. You will work with a team of volunteers who will support and in some cases lead the delivery of activities. You will also deputize for the Chief Operating Officer so some experience of supervision of staff and implementing Health and Safety policy and procedures is desirable. 

You are enthusiastic, motivated and organized. You have excellent people skills, are a team player and are looking for a role where you can make a real impact. You have a positive outlook and a can-do attitude. You lead by example. Experience of supporting older people is desirable but not essential.
