Leeds City Council are regularly hiring experienced drivers and are seeking applicants on an open recruitment for these roles.
Waste Management is fully committed to providing a safe, reliable and efficient refuse collection service for the residents of Leeds. We are looking to recruit a number of Refuse Drivers.
To be considered for this role you must hold a HGV licence of a C or CE class and an up to date drivers CPC card.
Working 39 hours per week, on a 4 over 6 shift pattern, you will work as part of a team to deliver a high quality refuse collection service. As part of the role you will operate a refuse vehicle collecting waste and tipping at appropriate locations. When you are not driving the vehicle you may be required to assist in the loading of the vehicle. You will be expected to complete vehicle checks on a daily basis, comply with relevant health and safety legislation and comply with domestic hours rules.

You must hold an LGV Licence - Class C (equivalent to HGV Class 2).
