Trustee (E1330) - Touchstone

Make a difference to people’s lives by becoming a Trustee on the Board of a multi-award-winning mental health charity with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion. 

Touchstone is looking for committed and motivated individuals aligned to our values and vision of inspiring communities and transforming lives where people with mental health issues are respected as equals. 

The role of a Trustee is voluntary. Trustees are expected to actively contribute to the Board using their skills and experience to provide strategic direction, evaluate performance, and ensuring the charity is run efficiently and effectively. 

Trustees are expected to contribute up to one day per month: 

• Attending 4 Board meetings per year and a bi-annual awayday. There is an expectation to attend at least one Board meeting a year in person. 

• Attending sub committees which meet up to 4 times a year.

 • Contributing advice and support on an ad hoc basis. 

• Attending events and promoting the work of the charity. 

• Visiting services as and when needed. 

Touchstone is a dynamic and innovative charity, offering more than 60 mental health and wellbeing services to over 10,000 people a year across Yorkshire, supporting vulnerable communicates to eliminate health inequalities.

All travel and out-of-pocket expenses will be paid. Applicants will be subject to a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) and references check.
