Moortown Primary School (part of Sphere Federation) is looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious part time Senior Administrator (23.75 hrs per week) to join our friendly school.
Hours of work will be 11.45am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday, term time + 2 days.

We are seeking to appoint someone who shares our vision of developing this inspiring environment and who contributes towards the positive ethos of our school. Our staff and governors work hard to maintain and develop schools with an environment of inspiration and fun, where our children can live and learn in a happy and safe environment.
The successful candidate will need to be a friendly and calm first point of contact for our parents/carers and visitors to the school. You'll have the motivation to work well under direction, as part of a team and using your own initiative, as well as being able to respond quickly to the changing needs of the school and/or interruptions from different members of our school community. You’ll also need a good eye for detail and excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
You will be required to:
- deal with telephone and face to face enquiries from internal and external customers
- manage attendance
- record dinner orders and liaise with the kitchen
- use ICT applications (SIMS, Word, Excel)
- collect, record and bank income for dinner money, school clubs, holiday clubs and educational visits
- process pupil admissions in accordance with the admissions policy
- prepare written communications – letter, email and text
- order and monitor stock supplies, and process invoices
- work with others to help sustain work organisation and effectiveness.
