At Swinnow Primary School, an opportunity has arisen for an Early Years practitioner, qualified to level 3 or above, to take a lead working in our two-year-old provision with our motivated EYFS team. You will work alongside our Assistant head – EYFS - to continue to develop a stimulating warm and welcoming environment where children can have fun while learning. As an Early Years Educator, you will be responsible for providing the best possible standards of care and education, as well as ensuring the environment is safe and secure, where the children are valued as individuals through a loving and child-centered approach
The successful candidate will:
- Have a good understanding of child development
- Have high expectations of children’s abilities, attainment and behaviours
- Be enthusiastic and flexible
- Be creative and able to tune in to young children’s care and education needs
- Have excellent communication and interaction skills
- Be passionate about children having the best start to school life
