Work Experience and Industry Placements at Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College

Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College is committed to providing all our students with an outstanding programme of careers education, information, advice, and guidance (CEIAG).  The department offers a creative approach to careers guidance with traditional daily face-to-face, telephone and e-guidance appointments. The department is pro-active in engaging with external organisations including networking with employers, HE institutions and apprenticeship providers to ensure students are provided with the very best in information and choices for progression routes. We firmly believe that all students have an entitlement to such provision and recognise the key role it must play in achieving the College’s aims of fulfilling each student’s potential, providing equality of opportunity, and maintaining high standards of achievement.

A planned progressive programme of activities supports each student to choose a pathway which suits their interests and abilities and helps them to follow a career path which will allow them to sustain employment throughout their working lives.

The College has a track record of outstanding success in its delivery of extended work experiences, forging many new links with large businesses to provide highly successful placements.
