St Luke’s is a thriving Christian school which achieves very good outcomes for all pupils. We enjoy very good relationships, both within school and within the wider community. At the very core of the school is our ethos of kindness and going the ‘extra mile’ in all situations. Anyone working at the school would need to apply the principle of treating the children as if they were their own children and with the upmost love and care.
As soon as possible, we require a Special Needs Assistant to work with pupils who present with individual complex needs and will require a high level of support and assistance throughout the day. As a member of the complex needs team you would be required to work across the Early Years classes for pupils with complex needs.
The ideal candidate will:
be fully committed to the ethos of the school
enjoy working with children in a primary school setting
be able to work effectively as part of a team
have good communication skills
have experience of supporting pupils with additional needs
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure Barring Service check, ISA Barred List check, online search and satisfactory references.
