Join our ICT Trainee Professional programme and you'll enjoy a variety of experiences, develop an enormous breadth of skills and build relationships that will stay with you throughout your career.

Salary: £20k+   Start Date: August/September 2019 TBC

This two year programme provides career opportunities in a diverse and exciting ICT environment with ongoing support and training. The ultimate aim is to develop you into a productive, highly skilled individual capable of making long term positive contributions to Leeds and its citizens.

What we can offer you

This is a flexible program offering experience in different technical fields followed by development in a specialist technical area. Highlights include:

  • Full programme of training and support including coaching and mentoring
  • Opportunity to develop and test on the Council’s website, Intranet and Electronic Document  Management systems (.Net, SharePoint, C#, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server)
  • Opportunity to develop and test on our integration platform (Biztalk)
  • Opportunity to develop and test on our Business Intelligence platform (Microsoft)
  • Possibility to diversify into other key technical such as Geographical Information Systems, Share Point, SQL and others.

You will be….

A recent (or soon to be) computing related graduate and/or have demonstrable related industry experience. As well as technical ability successful candidates will be need to be highly motivated, enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills and be willing to commit themselves to the ongoing improvement of Leeds
