Catholic Care is a faith based charity providing care and support to people of all faiths and none.  The charity also employs people of all faiths or of no faith at all.

The role of Community Sponsorship Co-ordinator is an exciting new role for Catholic Care with the primary purpose of enthusiastically and actively promoting, inspiring, developing and co-ordinating the Community Sponsorship model of refugee resettlement across the geographical area covered by the Diocese of Leeds.

This role is supported by Citizens UK through its role with Sponsor Refugees.

You will be required to promote and encourage the adoption of Community Sponsorship as a key strategy to refugee resettlement across the Diocese to welcome refugee families.

Experience and Qualifications

You will be required to have a broad understanding of the situation of the Syrian Refugee Crisis.  Also to have strong organisation and communication skills to enable you to inspire and drive forward the project.  A proven ability of project management is also required.
