We are looking for Volunteer Co-ordinators for the Arts, Venues and Events team. The role will involve identifying, recruiting and co-ordinating large numbers of volunteers for events including Light Night Leeds, Leeds International Film Festival and Leeds Young Film Festival.  You will be expected to develop a volunteer recruitment strategy, liaise with universities, colleges and arts organisations to recruit volunteers, create and schedule volunteer rotas, organise and run volunteer training sessions, ensure a high quality volunteer offer and create a positive volunteer experience.

This is a casual role that will include working on events as and when required.

We require one volunteer co-ordinator per event.  Events that currently need a Volunteer Co-ordinator include Light Night Leeds (5th and 6th October, with part-time hours from July to September, full time beginning of October), Leeds International Film Festival (1st – 16th November, part-time September and October, full time November) and Leeds Young Film Festival (Easter 2018, part time hours in March/April). On your application, please state which event(s) you are interested in working on and available for. It may be possible for a successful candidate to work on more than one event.

The role will include some evening and weekend work.

We promote diversity and want a workforce that reflects the population of Leeds.
