We are looking for a Creative Producer to design, co-ordinate and event manage specific events for the Arts, Venues and Events team, including outdoor events for Light Night Leeds. The role will include liaising with artists, production management staff, volunteers and the public to devise, promote and deliver events.  This will include organising creative participatory events for the public to take part in. The Creative Producer will also manage small budgets and promote events by creating content for press releases, event websites and social media channels.

Light Night Leeds requires a Creative Producer to work part-time (equivalent of three days a week, paid on an hourly basis, days/times can be flexible) from July to mid-October on the lantern parade and street entertainment programme, and there may also be opportunities to work on other events throughout the year.

This role is funded by Arts Council England and we are looking to support an emerging producer at the beginning of their career. The role may suit a recent graduate.

The role will include some evening and weekend work, and the successful candidate must be available to work on the days and evenings of Thursday 5th and Friday 6th October.

We promote diversity and want a workforce that reflects the population of Leeds.
