Hours: 37 per week (Term Time Only)

Location: Allerton High School, LS17 7AG
Closing Date and Time: Monday 15 September at 12 noon

Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.00pm

Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm

30 minutes for lunch per day

The Year Manager for Y9 plays a vital role in removing the barriers to learning and creating an aspirational ethos, ensuring a strong commitment to safeguarding young people and the school’s mission statement, enabling all to achieve success. 

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the Key Stage office, line managing and directing the work of the Year Coaches to ensure all issues are addressed each day through the use of a central office log
  • Update Head of Year and other staff on a regular basis, communicating effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Support in-year transfer liaison as requested
  • Support with achievement or attendance issues as required
