The Governors of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint caring and committed SEND teaching assistants to join the dedicated team of staff that take care of and nurture the children and families in our community. We are looking for confident, enthusiastic and calm members of staff who are able to work across the primary school age group.
The roles will primarily involve working under the direction of the class teacher to support individual children with SEND on a 1:1 basis as well as some support of small groups of pupils. The right candidates will be able to demonstrate personal qualities of dedication, patience, flexibility and good humour. Working collaboratively as part of a multi-professional team, you will be able to respond quickly to the changing needs of the school and the individual children, as well as demonstrating good levels of Maths and English. You will support our children in the development of their faith and spiritual journey.
