Swinnow Primary School is a one form entry school in the west of Leeds. We are a friendly school with lots going on. Swinnow Children’s Centre is on site, which provides services for families with children aged 0 - 5. Our nursery takes children from the age of 2. We also host Meadow – a provision to support children with SEMH needs. We are proud of our positive ethos and child-centred approach to everything we do.
We have a vacancy for a teaching assistant to join our friendly, dedicated and hard-working team. In the first instance, the job will be based in LKS2, but we can be flexible for the right candidate.
Could this be the opportunity you have been looking for?
You might be a recent graduate, thinking about a career in teaching; many of our teaching assistants have gone on to successfully train as teachers.
You might be ready to fulfil an ambition to develop a career supporting children’s learning.
You might be an experienced teaching assistant, ready for a new challenge.
Whoever you are, you must be committed to supporting children to achieve their best, be flexible, be resilient and have a positive outlook on life. If this sounds like you, you could be just the person we are looking for.
If you would like to find out more, please visit our website or even better – come and have a look for yourself. Please telephone the school on 0113 3783100 if you’d like to come and meet us. We’d be delighted to show you round.
