We are looking for a Teaching Assistant for UKS2 to support the children in their preparation for end of KS2 assessments. The ideal candidate should be committed to play an active role in ensuring that pupils receive provision of the highest quality and ideally have experience of working with children within a primary school setting. The role involves working with individuals and small groups as well as general classroom support work under the direction of the class teacher. Appropriate training will be given to facilitate delivery of the role.
Beechwood is a large and dynamic primary school, where our Teaching Team make a vital contribution to the wellbeing and progress of all our pupils.
We are a two form entry school and this post is a temporary post. A comprehensive induction programme will be provided for the successful applicant.
Hours of work: 32.5 hours per week, term time only plus five training days. Temporary contract, one year in the first instance.
