This is an exciting time to join the founding team of a brand-new school, Trinity Academy Leeds as it continues to grow and develop. Trinity Academy Leeds opened its doors in September 2021 to 240 students from across the city and has already established a strong culture of excellence where all staff are united under the same shared mission, to enrich and strengthen the life choices and chances of the young people in east Leeds and beyond. Our school is now in its fifth year and currently has 1190 students on roll. We had our first Ofsted inspection in May 2024 and achieved ‘outstanding in all areas.
At Trinity Academy Leeds, standards are incredibly high, and every young person is guided into adopting and developing positive learning habits through a clear, robust, and consistent set of expectations from the very day that they join us. We are passionate about providing a quality of education and a climate for learning that is good enough for the children of East Leeds because it is good enough for the children in our own/extended families.
The role of Student Liaison Officer will be key in establishing and maintaining this culture, in supporting our young people in making the right choices, in working hard and in being kind; helping them to ‘Reach Higher, See Further and Shine Brighter.’ If you are passionate about working with young people in an inner-city context, live and breathe high expectations and ‘go the extra mile’ to support, inspire and form relationships of mutual trust and respect with young people, then I would encourage you to apply.
These roles are suitable for people with either a teaching or non-teaching background and relevant CPD, training and opportunities to collaborate with other colleagues from across the MAT is standard practice. This is an exciting time to be part of a founding team of committed and passionate individuals who will have the opportunity to grow and develop alongside the school itself.
What we need:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience of working with identified disaffected students, or groups of students

What we can offer:
- Full support from a dedicated team of senior leaders from around the trust
- A commitment to your development and career progression
- A range of staff benefits, including a Cycle to Work scheme, reduced cost health cover and access to the West Yorkshire Pension Fund.
You must be fully committed to optimising the opportunities that are available to children and young people, secure in the knowledge that you will be joining an ambitious, forward-thinking Academy Trust that sets the standards for our family of schools and academies.
