A fantastic opportunity has arisen in our school for an enthusiastic SEND teaching assistant to join our staffing team. At Quarry Mount Primary School we want our children to become respectful, resilient and responsible learners in a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment, where a strong sense of belonging and identity in the school and wider community is valued. We are looking for someone to join our team who can translate their experience across our school and really have an impact on pupil learning. Quarry Mount Primary is located in inner city Leeds. We believe strongly in providing a breadth of opportunity for all our pupils to ensure their future success.
Applicants should have:
* Experience working with young children with SEND
* Experience of communicating with a child who is pre-verbal
* Have a very high expectation for achievement and behaviour
* 5 GCSE's or equivalent, including maths and English
* Willingness and ability to obtain and/or enhance qualifications and training for development in the post. Evidence of CPD.
* Experience of working in a school
* Experience of using Microsoft Office packages, SIMs, databases and web technologies.
