We are looking to appoint a caring, inspiring and highly motivated person to join our staff team to support a child in KS2.  A sense of fun and enthusiasm for the job are essential.

The successful candidates will:

  • Have previous experience of working with and supporting pupils of primary age within a school setting
  • Have previous experience of working with children with additional needs.
  • Experience of supporting children with personal, social, emotional and behavioural needs
  • A commitment to improving children’s learning through tailored provision
  • The ability to enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning
  • Enthusiasm, patience and a calm manner
  • A variety of communication skills to respond to the needs of children and to work effectively with professionals and parents
  • Experience of, or the ability to work in a team and with other professionals to tailor provision for individual pupil needs
  • Experience of delivering interventions and an understanding of how to meet the needs of pupil with additional needs as well as promoting inclusion
  • Good levels of literacy, numeracy and ICT
  • Experience of using a range of positive behaviour management techniques
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and evidence of being a team player
  • A willingness to contribute to the broader life of the school community

This post is 32.08 hours per week, Monday - Friday, Term Time only.

Working hours are 8.35am – 3.30pm (with a 30 min lunchbreak).
