An exciting opportunity has become available for a Science Technician to join our dynamic and forward‑thinking Science Department. Working under the guidance of the Senior Science Technician, you will provide both departmental support and practical assistance within the classroom. Our Science Department at Horsforth includes 15 teaching staff and 11 fully equipped laboratories, supported by three specialist prep rooms dedicated to each scientific discipline.

The role covers a wide range of responsibilities, including preparing materials, maintaining and repairing equipment, and assisting staff and students in the safe use of scientific apparatus.

This is a fast‑paced and demanding position, so the ideal candidate will be hardworking, enthusiastic, dependable, and flexible. You should be able to work independently when challenges arise, while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
