Horsforth School is seeking to appoint an outstanding, highly organised, and diligent School Administrator.

We are looking for an individual who will provide a range of administrative, marketing, reception and first aid duties to support the School. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, good IT skills, be flexible, with a ‘can do’ attitude and be sensitive to the needs and perspectives of others.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our supportive Pastoral Team. This role is central to the smooth running of our pastoral systems and to the care and wellbeing of our students.

The successful candidate will provide administrative and organisational support to Year Co-ordinators, Pastoral & Behaviour Officers and the wider team, working flexibly across year groups as needed. They will also liaise effectively with parents and carers, engaging them as key partners in their child’s education, and will collaborate with colleagues across the school, including SEND, Attendance, First Aid, Careers and Data teams.

With excellent interpersonal skills, you will be approachable and empathetic, but also able to be firm when required. The role involves a variety of responsibilities including supporting attendance and behaviour processes, preparing reports, helping to organise key school events such as Parents’ Evenings, rewards trips and the Year 11 Prom, and providing First Aid cover (training provided).

Horsforth School’s results speak for themselves - GCSE and A Level results are consistently well above the national averages and in 2022, 2023 and 2024 the school had the best state school A Level results in the whole of Leeds.

In addition, Horsforth School was named one of the top 10 schools in the North in The Sunday Times Power Guide in 2024 and the Yorkshire Post has recently voted the Sixth Form at Horsforth one of the top 3 Sixth Forms in Yorkshire.
