Post-16 Attendance Mentor

Salary: C1 £28,598 - £31,022 pro rata (Actual salary £24,597 - £26,682 pa)
Hours: 37 per week (Term Time Only plus 5 days)
Contract: Permanent
Location: Allerton High School, King Lane, Leeds LS17 7AG
Closing Date and Time: Monday 29 September at 12 noon

We require an Attendance Mentor to ensure attendance for our sixth form students is good, students are engaged with their programme of study and they are rewarded for doing so.

Your duties will include:

  • Analysing daily attendance data, triaging students and intervening appropriately with students and their families. Working closely with the Post 16 team to improve attendance rapidly.
  • Notifying the Assistant Headteacher of significant concerns and utilise the Post 16 contract system to support key students in raising their attendance.
  • Monitoring punctuality to lessons and intervening appropriately. 

Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.00pm

Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm

30 minutes for lunch per day
