Due to increased numbers at our popular “Gledowls Before & Afterschool club,” we are pleased to be recruiting several playworkers to join our amazing team.

These are permanent contracts and can be a mixture of working both morning and afternoon Monday to Friday or split to just Mornings or Afternoons. 

The working hours are:

Mornings – 7.20am to 8:50am am Monday to Friday (7.5 hrs per week)

Afternoons – 2.45pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday (16.25 hrs per week.

Successful Candidates will:

  • Be dedicated, friendly, and caring, committed to making a positive difference to the lives of young people, helping them grow and develop in a nurturing and playful environment. 
  • Demonstrate an ability to create and maintain a safe, secure, and fun environment for our children and be able to plan appropriate activities that support their development needs and personal interests. 
  • Be organised, strong communicators able to engage with children, parents, and colleagues. 
  • Have experience of working in an out of school club or similar setting.
