This is an exciting opportunity to join the Senior Management Team at Voluntary Action Leeds (VAL) in the integral role of Partnerships and Advocacy Manager. We’re looking for an exceptional candidate who is driven by our values and a commitment to ensuring there is a thriving voluntary and community sector in Leeds.
Working closely with the Chief Officer you’ll manage and continually develop a varied portfolio of work, including:
- Co-leading the delivery of work for our major funding streams, including our local authority Infrastructure Support Fund grant
- Managing the ongoing development of some of VAL’s core infrastructure functions namely forums, networks and research; including providing line management support to a team of Project Workers;
- Developing new relationships and maintaining existing strategic partnerships and collaborations, including with other infrastructure partners in Leeds and West Yorkshire;
- Actively exploring opportunities to secure funding or generate income to enable the development of new projects and services.
- NJC Scale PO2 – SP30 (£39,513) to SP32 (£41,511) (pay award pending).
- 29.6 hours per week
