We cater for pupils between the ages of 2 and 19 with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities, on specialist sites and mainstream partnership schools. The main purpose of the role is to work within a class team under the direction of the class teacher, usually in the classroom to support learning; provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom and support the pupils to meet their personal needs. This is an excellent opportunity to experience working within specialist provision. We will offer you professional development opportunities and a very supportive team of staff. It is also an excellent opportunity as a stepping-stone into teaching.
