What will the role look like?
As a member of Forward Leeds Focussed Intervention Team for Housing you will be at the forefront of Forward Leeds drug and alcohol service. Your role will be to work with people who identify as having problems with drugs and/or alcohol, as well as housing related issues. Your role involves delivering appropriate support and interventions to enable people to address their substance misuse and maintain accommodation appropriate to their needs.
This may include working with people who have their own homes, an LCC tenancy, rent from a private landlord or are in temporary or supported accommodation. You will be based within one of our three hubs, where you will alsohave responsibilities, and therefore support the effective running of an integrated alcohol and drug treatment service.
What we are looking for?
The individual is required to carry a caseload and work on a one-to-one basis with clients within their own homes or where they are currently accommodated, promoting client empowerment and independence, as part of the wider Forward Leeds FIT(Housing).
The post holder is responsible to the Forward Leeds FIT (Housing) Lead Practitioner, in relation to the performance of their day to day duties and for overall individual performance
The post holder will work closely with all areas of Forward Leeds and have responsibilities within the hub in which they are based.
