Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for helping children learn and grow? We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Roundhay St John's Primary School.
We are looking for someone to work term time only plus 5 training days.
Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 30 min unpaid break, providing essential support to our students and teachers. The role is varied and rewarding, combining general classroom assistance with dedicated one-on-one support for specific children, some of whom have additional needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the class teacher with daily activities and classroom management.
- Working closely with individual students or small groups to help them with their learning
- Providing tailored one-on-one support for children with special educational needs.
- Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and creating a positive, inclusive environment.
We are seeking a candidate who is patient, adaptable, and a great communicator. Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but we welcome applications from anyone with the right attitude and a genuine commitment to making a difference in a child's education.
