Hours: 31.25 per week over 5 days

Salary: Band 6-7, NJC Points 7 - 17 - Actual Salary £18,687 - £21,956 (depending on experience) 

Contract: Permanent

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and committed person to join our EYFS Teaching Assistant team, supporting teaching and learning and the personal development of pupils.

You will be working alongside our EYFS teaching team to provide high quality teaching and learning experiences for our children through purposeful engaging provision. You may also be required to cover whole EYFS classes alongside other support staff.  

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has the skills and knowledge to support all children within our school, within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Min Level 3)
  • Have experience of planning and preparing provision
  • Can use effective strategies to promote positive attitudes to learning
  • Have very high expectations of children’s attainment and behaviour
  • Behave in a professional manner within a team environment
  • Is an excellent and creative team player with strong interpersonal skills to work within the school team.
