The Inner East Cluster are looking for an Attendance Officer to join our team
You should have proven experience of engaging and working with children, young people and families experiencing attendance and punctuality challenges. You will have a thorough understanding of the barriers families face to accessing education. You must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working in partnerships..
As well as working with a range of staff across 9 Inner East schools, you will build relationships with a wide variety of agencies to ensure the right level of support is available for families to improve attendance.
You must be highly organised, analytical and able to keep detailed records and case notes. You must also have the ability to communicate with a range of partners, colleagues and families.
This is a varied, challenging and rewarding role; working as part of a cluster targeted response for children, young people and their families.
You will need to be flexible with your working hours to accommodate home visits before and after school.

These roles will be employed by a cluster school with day to day management provided by the cluster leadership.
