Featherbank Primary School is a thriving one-form entry school with a warm, inclusive ethos and a commitment to providing the very best education for every child. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Class Teacher to join our team.

This role will involve teaching a class with high levels of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will have the skills and resilience to create a nurturing, structured environment where all children can thrive.

Horsforth Featherbank Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS clearance

  • A qualified teacher with proven classroom experience (this post is not suitable for ECTs).
  • Strong understanding of SEN and SEMH strategies, with the ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse needs.

  • A reflective practitioner who works collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external agencies.
  • Someone who is passionate about inclusion and determined to make a difference.
