Are you ready to lead a vital front-line service making a real difference to people’s lives? Axis Supported Living (ASL) is a charity providing supported accommodation for high-risk and vulnerable adults subject to National Probation Service supervision.
We are seeking a skilled and committed person to take responsibility for overseeing our supported accommodation services across our portfolio of c.75 properties. You’ll report to the Board of Trustees and work closely with our small but dedicated team to deliver high-quality, safe, and outcomes-focussed housing and support.

Key Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
- Lead the operational delivery of supported accommodation services, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Manage a team across multiple sites (including lone-working and on-call duties), define clear roles, responsibilities, objectives and key results (OKRs).
- Oversee tenancy support, emergency cover, risk management and partnership working with probation, local authorities and other stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement, embed strong safeguarding practices, deliver high standards of service and demonstrate measurable outcomes.
Essential Criteria:
- Substantial experience of managing accommodation or supported-housing services for vulnerable adults, preferably within a criminal-justice or probation context.
- Strong leadership skills, proven in lone-working and site-based frameworks, able to manage teams across multiple locations.
- Excellent knowledge of UK homelessness / housing law, local authority commissioning, and service design for high-risk groups.
- Superb communication, partnership-working and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to engage at senior levels.
- A commitment to social justice, reducing re-offending and delivering person-centred support.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Coaching or mentoring experience.
- Qualification in housing, social work, business or a related field or relevant experience.
