We are seeking to appoint a knowledgeable and ambitious SEND specialist to lead aspects of our learning support provision in school.  Working to support the Assistant Headteacher - SENDCO, you will build and enhance established practise as well as lead innovations in order to ensure our curriculum can be accessed by all learners.

This is a new role within our school, and you will report to and support the work of our Assistant Headteacher – SENDCO.

You will:

  • Share our belief in the highest standards of academic attainment.

  • Have excellent knowledge of issues affecting learners with specific needs and a commitment to continually developing this knowledge.
  • Have a strong and sustained track record of delivering strong outcomes for learners with SEND.
  • Have experience of supporting colleagues within the classroom setting to enable all learners to access the curriculum.
