As the first point of contact for the department, you will be required to provide an efficient and effective administration service by responding to all departmental enquiries. The ability to communicate effectively with managers and staff is essential and you will be required to use a full range of MS Office programmes and the college’s data information systems.
Further duties of the role include; setting up student timetables and registers, booking rooms for the team, creating and updating tracking and monitoring documents, maintaining accurate records and files, taking minutes in team meetings, claiming for qualifications, raising purchase orders and processing invoices.
You will have excellent organisational and IT skills as well as relevant administration experience. You should possess 5 GCSEs (Grade A*-C/9-4) including English and Maths, or equivalent. A Level 2 qualification in Business Administration is desirable.
